Everywhere I look the leaves are changing. As I walk through the park, under what was once a thick canopy of leaves above, a cool autumn wind blows the fallen leaves around my feet - they’re all brown and I’m California dreaming. Dreaming about the beaches, the hills and canyons, the hot sun and the eternal summer. I’m thinking of my friends I have there and miss dearly. Some I haven’t seen for years but they’re not the type of relationship that need constant watering - they’re strong friendships where we can pick up where we left off on our next visit.
 
A leaf falls down and crashes into the slightly curled brim of my hat bringing me back to reality and off of the beaten path of memory lane, and I remember one of the reasons why I left that eternal sunshine in the first place - I missed the seasons. There's that cool autumn breeze again. I hug in my shoulders and put one hand upon my hat, securing it to my head in what is now a strong gust. There’s no place I’d rather be.

I’m bringing that feeling of cool night Californian desert air and soft glowing sunsets with me everywhere I go with this hat featuring a telescope crown and a custom in-house and hand-made linen hatband, with a willow green velvet bow, accented with a cream grosgrain ribbon and a cream and green Japanese natural linen cord. Lined with our custom-made 100% silk liner featuring the House of Harding logo and Freedom Feather pattern sides.
